Social Studies

The History Department curriculum begins with World Civilization in grade 7, followed by two years of U.S. History, Government in grade 10, European History in grade 11 and electives such as Human Geography and Psychology may be offered in the senior year. 

Course Offerings:

U.S. History I & II
U.S. History I covers American History from the discovery of the Americas by Europeans up to the civil war. U.S. History II focuses on driving issues of the past 160 years which have led to the society, economy and political structure we have today. (AP Option)
European History
This course covers the history of Europe from the Middle Ages to the Present, including the political, economic, cultural, religious, philosophical and scientific changes that have helped shape the world as it is today. (AP Option)
Psychology
