We are located on Arcola Avenue, next to the Kemp Mill Park, near the Kemp Mill Shopping Center. Arcola Avenue runs between Georgia Avenue and University Blvd.

  • Directions from Baltimore:

    Option 1: Take I-95 South to exit 27 to I-495 (West) toward Silver Spring. Take exit 29a to merge onto University Blvd. East (MD-193) and turn right on Arcola Avenue. School will be on the left after the Kemp Mill Shopping Center and the small park.

    Option 2: Take Route 70 West to Route 29 South. Continue on 29 past Trader Joe's. Turn right on University Blvd. and continue to Arcola Avenue. Turn Right on Arcola Avenue. School will be on the left after the Kemp Mill Shopping Center and the small park.

  • Directions from Virginia

    Take 495 towards Maryland. Cross over American Legion Bridge and then take exit 31-A and merge onto Georgia Avenue. Continue on Georgia Avenue for about 2.5 miles. Turn right onto Arcola Avenue. School is 1.5 miles down, on the right hand side.

We are located three blocks South of the 495 Interchange at Georgia Avenue. Heading South on Georgia Avenue, turn right on Seminary Road (1 block past Seminary Place). Seminary Road turns into Linden Lane. Turn left on Brookville Road. Turn left into the parking lot in the back of the building.

  • Directions from Baltimore

    Option 1: Take I-95 South to I-495 (West) to the Georgia Avenue exit heading toward Silver Spring. Follow local directions above.

    Option 2: Take Route 70 West to Route 29 South. Continue on 29 past the Washington Beltway (Route 495) to Dale Drive. Turn right and continue across Georgia Avenue. You will then be on Seminary Road. Follow remaining local directions. 

  • Directions from Virginia

    Take 495 towards Maryland. Cross over American Legion Bridge and then take exit 31-B and merge onto Georgia Avenue. Turn right onto Seminary Road, which becomes Linden Lane. School is 1/3 mile down, on the left hand side. To park in the back, bear left onto Brookville Road and enter the parking lot on the left behind the building.

About

The Yeshiva of Greater Washington-Tiferes Gedaliah (YGW) is a community-based school on two campuses in Silver Spring, Maryland. We have separate Boys and Girls Middle and High School Programs; a Yeshivah Gedolah/College Program; a Kollel; and community-wide programming. YGW emphasizes the primacy of Torah while providing exceptional general studies instruction. Our students graduate with the passion, preparation, and priorities necessary for life, as well as a healthy sense of self and community.
